Viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft wurde in das vierte Studioalbum, das am 6. Dezember 2019 als EP erscheint, gesteckt. Fünf bereits veröffentlichte Songs wurde neu, in einer acoustic-version interpretiert. Auch wenn‘s etwas gelassener zu und her geht als bisher, es wird immer noch kraftvoll, gefühlvoll und emotional. Darum geht es der Band auch in erster Linie: Emotionen vermitteln. Die Band hat eine Meinung über die Welt und schreibt Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse nieder, die das Leben der Musiker geprägt haben und sie dahin gebracht haben, wo sie jetzt sind.

Im Sommer 2018, nach fast 16 gemeinsamen Jahren als Band kündigte Scream Your Name eine kreative Pause an. Im Herbst wurden bestehende Songs als «acoustic»-Versionen neuinterpretiert. Manuel Buser an der Gitarre wurde durch Marco Joho ersetzt und Adrian Blaser am Piano kam als zusätzliches Mitglied dazu. Eine Auswahl von fünf Songs wurde als EP produziert. Produktion, Aufnahme und das Editieren wurde, wie bereits bei früheren Alben, in Eigenregie durchgeführt. Für Mix und Mastering wurde Peter Lagoda aus Deutschland mit ins Boot geholt. Dabei rausgekommen ist eine spannende Mischung aus ruhigen und wuchtigeren Teilen. Piano und Saxophon bringen neue Klänge in den Sound von Scream Your Name. Die EP «acoustic encore» stellt ein weiteres Kapitel in der Geschichte von der Band dar, und wird mit Sicherheit nicht das Letzte sein. In näherer Zukunft werden zusätzlich zu den Neuinterpretationen noch neue Songs geschrieben um auch als Akustikvariante abwechslungsreiche Livesets zu spielen.

A lot of passion and passion was put into the fourth studio album, which will be released on December 6th, 2019 as an EP. Five songs already released have been re-interpreted in an acoustic version. In the summer of 2018, after almost 16 years together as a band, Scream Your Name announced a creative break. In autumn, existing songs were reinterpreted as "acoustic" versions. Manuel Buser on the guitar was replaced by Marco Joho and Adrian Blaser on the piano came as an additional member. A selection of five songs was produced as an EP. Production, recording and editing was completely carried out by the band itself, as in previous albums. For mixing and mastering Peter Lagoda from Germany was brought on board. The result is an exciting mix of quiet and powerful parts. Piano and sax bring new sounds to the sound of Scream Your Name. The EP "acoustic encore" is another chapter in the history of the band and certainly will not be the last.
